Abstract
The article deals with the specificity of the reflexive stance-taking in the English blog discourse. On the basis of analysis of previous academic research, the study defines the term «stance» and outlines its structural components and types. The linguistic resources (lexical, grammatical and stylistic) which the speakers have at their disposal for articulating their reflexive stances have been examined and classified according to their social and pragmatic potential.
