BIPOLARITY OF NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS IN SUBCONCEPTS “NATION” AND “DISGRACE OF NATION” IN THE WORK OF IVAN NYZOVYI

Abstract

The article reveals the peculiarities of the depiction of the subconcepts of “nation” and “disgrace of nation” in the work of Ivan Nyzovyi. Attention is drawn to the major conceptual images, stylistic devices and expressive means, poetic syntax devices, phonetic expressive means and onyms, which are examples of practical embodiment of the concepts. The author considers the intertextual connections between the work of I. Nyzovyi and T. Shevchenko.
