Abstract
The article deals with the functional specifics of secondary nominations of indefinite quantity in accordance to journalistic discourse as their functioning field. As well as four main functions (quantity and quality evaluation, expressive and pragmatic), the article also presents additional functions: nominative, attractive, depictive, visualization, aesthetic, euphemious and cognitive. Numerous examples allow detailed analyzing of the functional abilities full range of indefinite secondary quantitatives.
