Abstract

The article studies the writer’s and the translator’s artistic-aesthetic systems cooperation as exemplified in E. Hemingway’s literary works interpreted by V. Mytrophanov. The author discovers those translation principles which harmonize author’s and translator’s unique styles. The scholar considers the degree of interference into the author’s writing manner, analyses the distortion of the writer’s style due to the use of translation transformations and reflects on the necessity of the national adaptations of the original texts.
