Abstract

The article deals with the computer and information technologies influence on the culture of scientific communication through intermediary of textual activity; communicative meaning of terminology and the increasing role of its international function is being analyzed. Attention is focused onto the problem of terminological competence formation of foreign students who are taught special studies in the non-native language; it is proposed to consider certain arrays of terms of a specific branch, their semantics by means of the comparative analysis method that should stimulate the conscious mastery of the future profession terminology
