COMMUNICATIVE PECULIARITIES OF SPEECH OF “CONFIDENTIAL LISTENER”

Abstract

The article deals with the communicative peculiarities of the mediator’s realization of the principle “confidentiality” in conflict discourse. The attention is drawn to the diversity of the connotation meaning of the confidentiality in a dialogue speech. The main part of the article is dedicated to the correlation between communicative strategies of a negotiator and tasks that have to be reached by “the confidential listener”. The key features of the presented typology of the communicative tactics of confidentiality (tactic of making an accent on the confidentiality of the information, tactic of refusing the proposes to be aware of secret datum, tactic of coding the information, tactic of saving the information and tactic of discussion the desire to get confidential information) are analyzed as a corpus of the peaceful communicative tactics in the process of mediation.
