Abstract

The metaphors’ features of the conceptual field of the fundamental initial conceptual sphere “outworld” in the political discourse on the material of the Ukrainian and English languages are explored in the article. The main attention is focused on the consideration of the main metaphorical models in the political text – the source of the metaphorical nominations’ functioning and conceptualization in the both languages of research.
