Abstract
The paper analyzes modern linguistic tendencies, which formed in terminology studies, in their projection on legal language. Registered that the newest approach of study a term, which are characteristic to different terminological school. Formulated the main approaches of Ukrainian terminological schools, which conclude with combination traditional and cognitive terminology studies. The author describes researches of law terms and accented attention of terminology of
family law, which is less researched and is needed complex study.
