Abstract
The article analyses one of the points of the transformation of reality in Mykola Khvyliovy’s fiction, namely the crisis of the dynamic formation of the ego. The subject of analysis is the novella «Elegy», it’s interpretation completed within the methodology of the structural psychoanalysis of Jacques Lacan.
