SOCIAL NETWORKS AS INFORMATION RESOURCE IN THE WORK OF THE TRANSLATOR

Abstract

The article deals with social networks «ProZ.com», «XING», «LinkedIn» and «The city of translators» as information resource especially in the work of the translator. Special attention is paid to their functions and possibilities. Gender and age groups, country with the biggest number of users were analyzed.
