VIOLATION OF ROLE EXPECTATIONS IN THE COMMUNICATION OF A CHIEF AND A SUBORDINATE: COMMUNICATIVE AND PRAGMATIC ASPECT (BASED ON ENGLISH-LANGUAGE FILM DISCOURSE)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of role expectations violation in communication of speakers with asymmetrical statuses. The tactics of actions criticism employed by a subordinate aims at strengthening their status and lowering a chief’s status. The paper gives the pragmalinguistic peculiarities of the tactics realization.
