Abstract

Shakespeare’s reminiscences in the work "My Brother Tom" by J. Aldridge are being revealed in the article on the plot-composition, problem-thematic, motif and imaginative levels. As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion that numerous Shakespeare’s reminiscences are used by the writer of the twentieth century with the aim to approve the eternity of the most important themes and problems of his story, for a more complete disclosure of their meaning.
