Abstract

The article deals with modification of image of a cicada (grasshopper, cricket) that is a through image in the world poetry and considered to be a double of creative individuality. The author of the article traces transformations of images of Grasshopper and Cricket in poetic dialogue between John Keats and Arseniy Tarkovskiy: invariant component, expressed in individual stylistics, typological similarity and difference in interpretation of these images are revealed.
