TEMPORAL MARKERSOF THE MODERN NOVEL GENRE (BASED ON THE WORK “BACK. CHRONICLE OF TURNING OVER TIME” BY A.I. SLAPOVSKY)

Abstract

The article is devoted the problems of temporal models in the genre of novel-retrochronicle “Back. Chronicle of turning over time” (2013) by A. Slapovski. In the article it is examined linear and nonlinear models in the structure of chronotope of modern novel, connection of temporal collision of the work with a social-philosophical experiment and its consequences in the context of existential range of problems. The artistic markers of time are considered in mythological, social and cultural, psychological, philosophical aspects. The category of time is represented in poetics in an extraordinary way and in the same time it is built-in in realistic discourse as a factor of the inverted ontological model of life. A grotesque, paradox, intertextual game, allusion become central devices.
