Abstract
Article is dedicated to the study of abbreviation terms in EU legal acts. The tendency of saving language is embodied in professional texts of EU law. The main means of its manifestation is the use of shortening terms and it’s abbreviation. In the article it is analyzed the division terms by the structure and provides the examples of commonly used terms in the EU regulations.
