Abstract
The article deals with communicative and discursive aspects of personages’ utterances in intergender communication. Special attention is paid to the classification of discourse acts as the basic units of dialogical discourse. Two types ofm discourse acts are singled out: DA of inquiry and DA of explanation, their place in intergender communication is specified.
