Abstract

The article focuses on the appearance of Internet communication which led to the emergence of digital genres. Particular attention is given to the English-language political Internet-communication. The use of the main linguistic and non-linguistic means on the graphical, lexical, syntactic levels and on the level of word-formation affecting the expressiveness in the genre twitting in the English-language political Internet communication is analyzed.
