Abstract
In the article the realization of bestiary code in the cycles of the short stories «Skazki dlya vunderkindov», «Neukushennyj lokot’» and «Mal mala men’she» of S. Krzhizhanovsky is considered. Relationship of the code with animalistic is analyzed. The intersection of zoomorphic and anthropomorphous beginnings in figurative structure of works is shown. The appeal of the writer to antique tradition, German-Scandinavian and East Slavic folklore and mythology is represented.
